Houston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley underwent arthroscopic labral repair surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

Brantley has been sidelined since June 27th with the shoulder injury. Brantley finishes the season hitting .288 with 5 homers, 26 RBI, and an OPS of .785.
The Astros will continue rotating different players in left field, with Brantley officially out for the year.
Brantley is in the final year of his contract with Houston, and we have to wonder if we've seen the last of him in an Astros uniform.
