Skip Bayless says history tells us Texans will play hardball with Deshaun Watson

Thursday on Undisputed, Skip Bayless reminds Shannon Sharpe of late Texans' owner Bob McNair's statement about not letting "the inmates run the prison," and insists the Texans' organization doesn't believe in letting players have control over ownership. He believes this mentality will be the reason the Texans refuse to trade Deshaun, which will lead to Watson sitting out the entire 2021 season. Skip ends the video telling Shannon he bets Watson will sit out the season. It sounds like these two might be wagering a couple cases of Diet Mountain Dew on this, which is their usual bet if you watch the show. Check out the video to learn more.

With news coming down this week regarding the Houston Texans and their alleged role in the Deshaun Watson situation, ProFootballTalk founder and former lawyer Mike Florio shares his thoughts on the Texans being sued by Tony Buzbee and how he sees the legal proceedings playing out.

Also, Florio believes that the outcome of these cases will come down to "legal duty," and the Texans will argue they had no idea what Watson was doing, and it wasn't their responsibility to protect these individuals that have no ties to the organization.

Be sure to check out the video above for a full breakdown from a legal perspective.
