2023 Final Four to take place at NRG in Houston

The NCAA announced on Monday that Houston will be hosting the men's Final Four in 2023 at NRG Stadium. The Final Four was in Houston as recently as 2016 and also in 2011 and 1971. The Bayou City beat our six other finalists and was awarded the Final Four by a 10-person committee. Houston will also host a 2020 NCAA Regional and the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

MLB.com's Brian McTaggart was first to report that Justin Verlander will be seeking BIG money this offseason, comparable to Max Scherzer's Mets deal. The Houston Chronicle's Chandler Rome adds, “per multiple people familiar with his thinking, Crane has privately questioned that contract and doesn’t seem keen on giving a similar one.”
