Here’s why Astros rehab procedures now under the microscope

The Athletic's Chandler Rome wrote a piece this week highlighting how the Astros and their training staff have encountered issues with players returning from injuries which dates back to last season. Jake Meyers was brought back too soon from a shoulder injury, and then GM James Click said the team needed to review their return to play procedures.

With Jose Altuve set to begin his minor league rehab with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys on Friday, we discuss why the Astros should take their time and not bring Altuve back too soon after Michael Brantley and Chas McCormick both suffered setbacks this week.
