Reaction: Verlander reportedly seeking “Max Scherzer type deal”

MLB.com's Brian McTaggart was first to report that Justin Verlander will be seeking BIG money this offseason, comparable to Max Scherzer's Mets deal. The Houston Chronicle's Chandler Rome adds, “per multiple people familiar with his thinking, Crane has privately questioned that contract and doesn’t seem keen on giving a similar one.”
