According to reports, the Houston Astros are acquiring Orioles 30-year-old OF/1B Trey Mancini.

Mancini is hitting .268 with 10 home runs and 41 RBI this season. He was the AL comeback player of the year in 2021 after recovering from stage 3 colon cancer.

Mancini will be a free agent after the season, because he will likely opt out, so the Astros didn't have to give up too much to acquire him. The full trade package is below courtesy of Chandler Rome.

He also answered questions about the acquisition of Stefon Diggs, and addressed any concerns the team has about their new receiver having the reputation as a “diva.”

In the video above, Rich Eisen reacts to Caserio's presser and projects how the season will play out for the Texans with Diggs added to the team. Let's just say he's bullish on the Texans.
