Astros give Texans (and Houston) ultimate “gift” as World Series resumes

With Game 3 of the World Series being postponed, the Astros and the Texans will now both be playing on Thursday night, which means both games won't be airing on Fox. The Texans game will now be appearing on Fox's sister station My 20 in Houston, and also available on Amazon. The Texans just played their worst game of the season against the Titans, and now the undefeated Eagles come to town to destroy the Texans in a prime time game.

Is this a blessing in disguise for the Texans, since practically nobody in Houston will watch the Texans get embarrassed by Philly? One could easily make that argument, and we did. Be sure to check out the hilarious video above as we rank which shows are likely to now out rate the Texans in their only prime time game this season.

The Astros have been rumored to have interest in signing a catcher this offseason, and manager Dusty Baker told reporters on Monday that the team has interest in former Cubs catcher Willson Contreras, and will meet with him this week.

Martin Maldonado doesn't seem excited about the possibility of the Astros adding another catcher, and voiced some displeasure about a potential signing on his Instagram story.

Be sure to check out the video above as we discuss the need for an upgrade at catcher, why the team isn't considering players already in the system (Korey Lee, Yainer Diaz), and how Yuli Gurriel factors into the conversation.
