Eric Jackson gets first win as new head coach for the Eisenhower Eagles

To say the Eisenhower Eagles won would be an understatement, the Eagles did more than win as they dominated in their second game of the season against Channelview.
The game was won all in the first half with the Eagles running up the score 27-0 and they went on to finish the deal with a final score of 41-14.
With the win being a team effort, there was a special team effort between junior quarterback Christian Sims and senior receiver Jashon Palmer.
It was a game of first for the two teammates.
Sims threw four touchdowns to three different receivers for the first time in his career and Palmer scored three touchdowns in one game for the first time in his career.

The Houston Texans came into this draft with many anticipating they would trade up to address their need on the offensive line. Instead, the Texans elected to trade back to pick No. 34 after agreeing to a deal with the Giants.
The Texans also receive pick number 99, and a 2026 third-round selection.

When Ohio State's offensive lineman Donovan Jackson and Texas receiver Matthew Golden went off the board right in front of them, the Texans decided to go with a contingency plan, it seems.
We'll have to wait until Friday night to see what the Texans do with their picks.
