QUICK HITS
It's very obvious that the NFL has a problem with their replay rules, and the Texans have been victim to it several times already this season.
Of course, it has worked in Houston's favor like this Thursday night when the officials didn't review a possible fumble by Deshaun Watson in the Texans' win against the Colts.
ESPN 97.5's Charlie Pallilo talks about how the NFL can improve the replay system and why the officials refuse to overturn pass interference challenges in most cases.
Yordan Alvarez’s latest comments on his lingering hand injury have left Astros fans more uneasy than ever. When asked whether he’ll be playing through pain the rest of the season, Alvarez admitted he isn’t sure, saying he feels like he needs rest, but also knows he’s expected to be on the field. That uncertainty has only fueled more questions than answers.
What exactly is going on with one of the Astros’ most dangerous hitters? Why is he still receiving injections? And if his hand was once “60 percent healed,” why hasn’t he fully recovered? Fans are beginning to wonder whether this is more serious than the team is letting on, and whether the version of Yordan they once knew is truly coming back.
For a player with such a massive impact on Houston’s lineup, these lingering doubts are tough to ignore. Is this just a temporary setback… or the beginning of a new, more fragile reality?
