The Houston Astros have been able to capitalize on their pitching depth this season by implementing a 6-man rotation to keep their staff as fresh as possible with the playoffs likely on the horizon.

But what about next year when Luis Garcia and Lance McCullers rejoin the team at some point in the season. They certainly won't go to an 8-man rotation.

So the plan has to be moving some starters to the bullpen and possibly trading their depth to strengthen the club at other positions.
