After the offseason started a little slow for the Houston Astros, things sure have picked up in recent weeks. First, the Astros signed closer Josh Hader to a 5-year, $95 million deal.
And now, the Astros pulled the trigger on a contract the fan base has been waiting on for months.
The Astros and Jose Altuve have agreed to a 5-year contract extension.

The Texans may have to start their third string linebacker this week, Neville Hewitt, if both Azeez Al-Shaair and Henry To'oTo'o are unable to play.
