THERE'S A CATCH

Astros GM Dana Brown called Yainer Diaz the “future for us behind the plate.” Well, it would appear the future is now, as Martin Maldonado continues to lack offensively, while also seeing a drop-off in his defensive ability as well.

Yainer Diaz is a younger, better option at this point. When will he get the opportunities he needs?

The Houston Astros are finally firing on all cylinders, winning nine of their last eleven games. They now trail the first-place Mariners by only four games as they prepare to play the Angels this week at Minute Maid Park.

What's going right?

Now that the Astros starting pitching is healthy, the club has been stacking up wins, with Kyle Tucker leading the offense along with Jeremy Pena and Jake Myers.

Can they keep it up?

Even if Tucker tails off a bit, hopefully that will coincide with Yordan Alvarez getting hot and the offense overall not skipping a beat.

Be sure to watch the video above as we discuss the Astros winning ways, and what we should expect from the team in the short and long-term.
