THINGS GOT HEATED?

Following the dismissal of Texans OC Bobby Slowik, many wondered what ultimately led to his departure. While we don't expect DeMeco Ryans to pull the curtain back and reveal every detail to the media, we did hear a juicy nugget from ESPN 97.5's Lance Zierlein.
According to Zierlein's sources, there was an altercation between Slowik and Stroud during his pre-draft meeting with the Texans. Also, Stroud reportedly told another team that his visit with the Texans was “terrible.”
Apparently, Slowik and Stroud smoothed things out, and put the incident behind them. But this does give some context to the relationship between the two.
Don't miss the video above as ESPN Houston's John Granato and Lance Zierlein discuss all the details of the encounter, and other possibilities that led to Slowik being let go.
