Texans, CJ Stroud unintentionally keep CRUSHING the Carolina Panthers franchise

This week, the Houston Texans are preparing to play a do-or-die game against the Colts with a Wild Card berth on the line. And regardless of the outcome, it's safe to say it's been a great season for the Texans, who have already secured a winning record.

Especially when compared to how things have played out for the Panthers, who had the No. 1 pick in the draft. They've already fired their head coach and have only won two games this season.

Things got even worse for the Panthers on Sunday as they were dominated 26-0 by the Jaguars, who started backup quarterback CJ Beathard. Frustrations ran high in this game, causing QB Bryce Young to smash his tablet on the sideline, and owner David Tepper to throw his drink on Jaguar fans.

As if things aren't bad enough for Carolina, it looks like the Texans nailed the No.3 overall pick in the draft with Will Anderson, who looks like a legit Pro Bowler for years to come. Not to mention CJ Stroud who already plays like a generational QB as a rookie.

Also, let's not forget DeMeco Ryans and Nick Caserio have a legit shot at winning Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year, respectively.

With that in mind, what will it take for Houston fans to fully embrace the new-look Texans? Sunday's game against the Titans was one of the biggest crowds of the season at NRG, but there were a few empty seats.

What has to happen for Texans fans to fully buy back in and have a big waiting list for season tickets like in years past? Would beating the Colts and making the playoffs be enough?

Be sure to watch the video above as we break it all down!

Oswald Peraza hit a two-run single in the ninth inning to help the Los Angeles Angels snap a three-game losing skid by beating the Houston Astros 4-1 on Saturday night.

Peraza entered the game as a defensive replacement in the seventh inning and hit a bases-loaded fly ball to deep right field that eluded the outstretched glove of Cam Smith. It was the fourth straight hit off Astros closer Bryan Abreu (3-4), who had not allowed a run in his previous 12 appearances.

The Angels third run of the ninth inning scored when Mike Trout walked with the bases loaded.

Kyle Hendricks allowed one run while scattering seven hits over six innings. He held the Astros to 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position, the one hit coming on Jesús Sánchez’s third-inning infield single that scored Jeremy Peña.

Reid Detmers worked around a leadoff walk to keep the Astros scoreless in the seventh, and José Fermin (3-2) retired the side in order in the eighth before Kenley Jansen worked a scoreless ninth to earn his 24th save.

Houston’s Spencer Arrighetti struck out a season-high eight batters over 6 1/3 innings. The only hit he allowed was Zach Neto’s third-inning solo home run.

Yordan Alvarez had two hits for the Astros, who remained three games ahead of Seattle for first place in the AL West.
