HOUSTON – It was a good weekend to be a Falcon.

With the 2018-2019 SPC Championship circuit in full swing it was a busy weekend with multiple sports wrapping up their seasons.

Kinkaid finished off a couple of its by hoisting a trophy.

On the baseball diamond it came down to Episcopal and Kinkaid.

In the second inning, Tyler Doan hit a sacrifice fly, which drove in Behr Bruce for the early 1-0 lead. That slim lead would hold the rest of the way as the Falcons would wrap up the SPC Championship.

This marks the first SPC Championship for Kinkaid since 2015 and ends a streak of three-straight runner-up finishes. It also ended Episcopal's run at two-straight SPC Championships.
