PLAYING THE PONIES

Sam Houston Race Park selections for Monday, May 6

Here are my selections for Monday. These are not meant to be in exact order, but merely the four horses I think have the best chance to win. For beginners, I suggest exacta boxes with three horses, using two of mine and one of your own. And you can always pick up a copy of Acing Racing 2016 to learn everything you need to know. Rhett Lewis and James Palmer talk about the Texans' new-look offense for 2020 and what they expect to see with new OC Tim Kelly calling the plays. They also share their thoughts on the Texans having 3 receivers that run sub 4.4 in the 40 yard dash and how their speed will impact the offense. Also, James Palmer talks about Randall Cobb's ability to excel with a QB that makes a lot of plays off script, referencing the years he played with Aaron Rodgers. Current Buccaneers head coach, Bruce Arians, believes Watson is the best off script QB in the league now, so the addition of Cobb could be huge for the Texans.
