Here are my selections for Tuesday. These are not meant to be in exact order, but merely the four horses I think have the best chance to win. For beginners, I suggest exacta boxes with three horses, using two of mine and one of your own. And you can always pick up a copy of Acing Racing 2016 to learn everything you need to know. (These are the picks and format that are available on the free tip sheet at SHRP)

FIRST
2-1-3-7
SILVER COIN gets a class drop and that should do the trick.

SECOND
4-6-2-5
BOSQUE COUNTY had some good efforts in Oklahoma

THIRD
2-1-3-5
TAPIT CITY comes off a nice effort in New Orleans and should be in the mix

FOURTH

KAY K NIKKI could improve in start No. 2 and surface switch

FIFTH
3-7-9-1
LITTLE JOHN W has some big efforts at Remington

SIXTH
2-3-1-4
EXCITING was a solid debut winner who should improve in start No. 2

Lovie Smith's testy encounter with a local reporter after the Texans loss to the Commanders has been a big topic of discussion locally in Houston this week, causing many to question if the reporter went a little too far.

In fact, this heated interaction even garnered national attention from ESPN's Stephen A. Smith on First Take. Stephen A. questioned whether the local reporter would have behaved the same way if former Texans coach Bill O'Brien was still running things.

Be sure to check out the video above as ESPN Houston's John Grananto and Lance Zierlein share their thoughts on the reporter's line of questioning.

Plus, the guys weigh in on Stephen A.'s position, and answer his question with a resounding “Yes!”
