Texans make a surprising trade with Saints before Tuesday's deadline

The NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Texans are trading RB Mark Ingram to the Saints in exchange for what is expected to be a late-round draft pick. Ingram is familiar with the Saints offense from his time in New Orleans, so this deal makes a lot of sense in that aspect. Houston is clearly very comfortable dealing with the Saints, as the Texans traded CB Bradley Roby to New Orleans earlier this season.

What will the Houston Texans do at QB this offseason? Is Texans QB Davis Mills still part of the team's plans at QB? DeMeco Ryans had some interesting comments about the Texans QB situation on The Rich Eisen Show. He mentioned the Texans already had one QB on the roster, that being Davis Mills.

When asked about the Texans plans with the No. 2 overall pick, he didn't mention a QB. He named Andre Johnson and JJ Watt as the type of players the team would love to draft. Does that mean the team isn't sold on drafting a QB early? Or is DeMeco just playing his cards close to the vest?

ESPN Houston's Jake Asman, Cody Stoots, and Brad Kellner reacted to his comments and much more on The Wheelhouse.
