With the playoffs right around the corner, Astros manager A.J. Hinch has some decisions to make regarding his bullpen.
Performance is not the only factor Hinch has to consider, he also has several players dealing with injuries.
ESPN 97.5's Joel Blank, Barry Laminack, and Raheel Ramzanali share their thoughts on how the roles in the bullpen will be handled.
Monday night at Daikin Park felt like a baseball homecoming. The Astros outlasted the Red Sox 7-6 in a thriller that reunited fans with three familiar faces.
Carlos Correa, back in Houston and manning third base, delivered a clutch RBI single and flashed the glove that made him a star.
Across the diamond, Alex Bregman made his first appearance since leaving for Boston — and answered with a long homer.
Cristian Javier returned to the mound, showing both sharp moments and some rust in his comeback. The fact that he was able to secure a win in his first start back is extremely impressive.
From Correa’s emotional postgame reflections, to the electric energy in the stands, this was more than just a game, it was a night to remember.
