Fair or not, here's why the Texans stakes are different for Lovie Smith

This week, we react to an article from Bucky Brooks on NFL.com which shared his concerns about the success Lovie Smith can realistically have considering the state of the Texans roster. Will Lovie Smith get a third year as head coach if he doesn't show improvement in the win column each year?

Also, we do a deep dive into Lovie's early seasons with the Bears and find good reasons for the Texans to give Smith a third year.

After Yordan Alvarez suffered an injury on Thursday from colliding into Jeremy Peña in short left field, many fans and media are questioning whether Alvarez should DH exclusively to keep injuries like this from happening.
