Signing Jadeveon Clowney long-term would be a mistake

The Texans have some big decisions to make this off-season and perhaps none is more important than deciding what to do with Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney is going to want a huge contract somewhere in the ballpark of what Khalil Mack and Aaron Donald are making. Mack recently signed a deal for 6-years, $141 million. The Texans also have the option of placing the franchise tag on Clowney and keeping him for another year, but they could also trade him.
